Hereward College has funded distance learning training courses available in subjects to suit all needs. The accredited Level 2 programme allows for flexible study in a learner's own time. Courses typically take two to four months to complete and are no cost to the individual subject to eligibility (learners must be able to complete the course within the time limit and have been a resident of the UK/EU for three years and aged 19 or over).

All study material and resources are provided, and the courses are marked by a tutor based on assignments, essays and tests.
